The Peninsula Panthers are working their way back up after being down three games in the final for the Paterson Memorial Trophy.

The Peninsula Junior B team face the league-winning Victoria Cougars in the VIJHL final. A 3-2 win last night forces a game six tonight in North Saanich.

With no scoring in the first, the Victoria Cougars took a two-goal lead in the second period. The Panthers made a resounding comeback with three unanswered goals to take game five.

Kyle Peterson tallied the first goal with brother Cole Peterson adding two more for the win. Netminder Nick Babich made 22 saves in the win.

The Panthers are in action tonight at Panorama Recreation Centre for game six of the best-of-seven. The puck drops at 7:30.

Victoria has three wins in the series versus Peninsula's two. Game seven if necessary is slated for Sunday, March 20 at Archie Browning Arena at 3 p.m.
