Although I rarely respond to letters in your paper, I felt a response to Mr. H.U.P. Edwards was warranted.

I must point out that the initial Sandown plan and current proposal, which includes commercial development on what is now agricultural property, was in fact the plan of the previous council of Mayor Finall, as opposed to the “selfish proposal of the four councillors in the majority” as stated by Mr. H.U.P. Edwards last week.
