Mayor Larry Cross wants to bring big box store paradigms to spur the local growth and beautification?
I have been to Langford many times and as a business person I ask the age old question, “how's biz?” And those Langford little guys are not saying, “amazing, thanks to all my under-cutting, big box neighbours.”
Cross needs to hop down off the big box wagon and think locally. How do we bring people to Sidney? How about a Sidney Business Association that is actually inclined to work towards Sidney’s businesses and beautification, instead of being run in parallel as a profiting business.
We need a paradigm reform in this sleeping town, but not a big box one.
