LETTERS: Better policing means fewer bad drivers

The accident of a truck running over a scooter in Sidney raises again the question of the quality of truck drivers on B.C. roads.

While life is not zero risk, the accident rate is far too high.

Drivers in the greater Victoria area regularly do things like avoid stopping at a red light and changing lanes at the last minute.

Of course if voters supported more and better policing, many more bad drivers would be re-educated before they kill someone.
