TANNER, RALPH
Born January 19, 1926, in Toronto, Ontario. It is with great sadness that we announce Ralph's passing, February 18, 2008, after a brief illness. Much loved by his wife of 51 years, Lorraine, his son Darryl (Ingrid) his daughter Roni (Richard), and his heart's joy; his grandchildren; Natasha, Jordan, Alexis, Kaitlyn and Jason. Ralph served in the RCAF overseas during World War ll. He moved to Calgary where he was employed in the oil industry, until his retirement. Ralph and Lorraine enjoyed the last 18 years of their retirement on the Saanich Peninsula in B.C.
Ralph's proudest accomplishments were his children and grandchildren, and this was evident in the love and closeness that they shared. "You will be sorely missed."
No service by request, but his family will be hosting an open house in his honour on Saturday, February 23, 2008, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Darryl and Ingrid's home: 10456 Allbay Road, Sidney, B.C.
