Victoria police arrest robbery suspect

RBC in downtown Victoria robbed Saturday afternoon

A 58-year-old Victoria man was arrested Monday on suspicion of robbing the RBC Bank at 1079 Douglas St. on Saturday.

The suspect was arrested without incident at around 8:30 p.m. inside a Subway restaurant in the 400-block of Gorge Rd. E.

Just after 3 p.m. on Aug. 4, a robber entered the bank, demanded money from the teller, then fled on foot. Police used a detailed description to track down the suspect.
