Eleven-year-old Jordana Underwood raised $266 for the food bank through the contest which began as a Bayside school project.

Recently she presented Frankie Boswell, of Central Saanich, the gift basket she won for guessing the closest number of coffee beans in a jar at a fundraiser for the Sidney Lions Food Bank.

Boswell guessed 10,300 beans, and the correct number was 10,372.
