Three local youth were sent to hospital following a single vehicle crash in Brentwood Bay early Saturday morning (June 11).

Shortly after midnight Central Saanich Police responded to a 9-1-1 report of a single vehicle crash in the 6700 block of Wallace Drive. Police say the driver, a Central Saanich teen, appears to have lost control of his vehicle hitting a telephone pole. The Central Saanich Volunteer Fire Department cut away the roof to remove the driver.

The three occupants of the vehicle, all Central Saanich teens, were transferred by ambulance to Victoria General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Alcohol is not considered a factor in the crash. Central Saanich Police Service is seeking witnesses to the crash. One of the youth, a passenger, is still in hospital with serious injuries.
