Bike park opens new runs Sunday

Get your bike down to the Free Ride Bike Park on May 29 at 2 p.m. to celebrate the new Rotary Fitness Zone unveiling and dedication ceremony.

The park has been under construction for the past few weeks while the new technical track and slalom course have been developed.

Sidney by the Sea Rotary sponsored the two new tracks during the Monte Carlo fundraisers in 2010 and 2011.

The Free Ride Bike park at 10180 Littlewood Road in North Saanich is fast becoming a world-class family-friendly bike park. It’s free for anyone with a bike to ride and enjoy.
