North Saanich driver tries to avoid roadblock in Central Saanich, gets busted

A North Saanich man compounded his problems when he tried to turn around to avoid a roadblock on Saturday, Dec. 30.

Central Saanich police were stopping traffic around 10:30 p.m. in the northbound lane of West Saanich Road near Sluggett Road. When officers saw a vehicle turn around, they followed. They issued the prohibited driver with yet another driving prohibition.
