The Sarah Beckett Memorial Run kicks off at 10 a.m. Sunday (May 12), beginning at Starlight Stadium in Langford.

Beckett, a former RCMP officer, died in 2016 after a drunk driver hit her police cruiser in 2016.

Starlight Stadium will be open from 8 a.m., where participants can grab a coffee before the race begins.

Public parking for the event is available on Alouttee Drive off of Langford Lake Road. Drivers are asked to refrain from parking at the City Centre Arena or near the bowling alley.

Dogs are welcome at the Sarah Beckett Memorial Run, but they must be on a leash and under control at all times.

Along the race route, a water station and light snacks will be available. St John Ambulance provides first aid. Washrooms will be available at Starlight Stadium.
