A local folk group sang for somebody else’s supper over the weekend.
Friday Folk performed several songs in downtown Sidney Saturday afternoon to help raise $1,100 for the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank.

Friday Folk consists of seven amateur musicians and singers who have been meeting at the SHOAL Centre for Seniors most Fridays for the past five years to enjoy traditional and modern folk music.
