The British Columbia Hockey League has changed the time of two Victoria Grizzlies games in the New Year.

The Jan. 2 and 18 games were changed as a result of flooding and travel issues across the province, according to a statement from the league.

The next Grizzlies game is at The Q Centre on Jan. 1, against the Powell River Kings. In their last meeting on Nov. 19, Grizzlies won 6-4.

The Grizzlies will no longer play on Jan. 2, but head for Powell River for a Jan. 5 game.

The sheduled home game against the Surrey Eagles is now Jan. 18.
