The Peninsula Panthers celebrate after winning game 7 against the Victoria Cougars 5-2 at Archie Browning Sports Centre Sunday afternoon. The Panthers rallied a four-game winning streak to win the Patterson Memorial Trophy.

The VIJHL Junior B Peninsula Panthers beat Victoria Cougars in the seventh game of the series. The Panthers started their comeback run in the must-win fourth game and never looked back. The Panthers put down the Victoria Cougars 3-1 in game six Friday night and were prepared to take it all when they hit the ice this afternoon (March 20) at Archie Browning Arena in Esquimalt. The Panthers scored four unanswered goals in the first and never left room for hope for the Cougars. The final score was 5-2.
