Two Peninsula Minor Hockey Association teams are celebrating as they gear up for provincial competitions.

Peninsula’s U18A team defeated the Campbell River Tyees in two games, taking the U18 Tier 2 Island final in the best-of-three series on Feb. 26.

The team heads to provincials later this month, hosted by the South Delta Minor Hockey Association during spring break.

Not to be outdone, Peninsula’s U15A squad claimed the Island U15 Tier 2 final on Feb. 26. The Eagles beat the Juan de Fuca Grizzlies in two straight games during the best-of-three series.

The U15 provincial competition also runs during spring break, but this team is heading to Kelowna.
