Central Saanich Little Leaguers have a shot at provincials.

They host the district 7 Little League tournament, which started Sunday, July 8. Play continues with semifinals happening Saturday, July 14 at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and finals on Sunday, July 15 at 11 a.m., all at Centennial Park.

The winner of the tourney – between Central Saanich, Beacon Hill, Hampton and Lakehill/National – moves on to provincials in Trail, then potentially the Canadian championship in Edmonton.

The winner of that tournament could go on to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. in August.
