Ghostriders up first for Panthers

The Peninsula Panthers will open the Cyclone Taylor Cup battling with host Fernie Ghostriders.

The provincial Junior B competition starts Thursday and the VIJHL champion Panthers will face the Richmond Sockeyes on Friday (3 p.m.), then on Saturday (3 p.m.) they play the Osoyoos Coyotes. Sunday’s final is slated for 6 p.m.
