Come on out and give football a try. Interested kids can attend a free one day session on Sunday February 12th at local football parks.
Kids ages 7 to 14 who live on the Peninsula are invited to the Peninsula Wildcats Minor Football gear-free practice on Sunday, Feb. 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Greenglade Field. It's free to attend and play.
Kids do not need to where football gear although cleats are always a good idea and clothes that can get dirty are a must.
Coaches will be there to run through some drills with the kids and to answer some questions. Park co-ordinators will be there to talk with parents about the upcoming season. Registration forms will be available.
Registration for the 2012 Spring Football League and information about all teams can be found at www.victoriafootball.ca. Registration includes all gear (helmet, shoulder pads, pants, thigh, knee and kidney pads) except cleats.
