The Peninsula Eagles Bantam C2 team are South Island minor hockey champions.
A win at Panorama Recreation Centre capped an impressive season whereby the Eagles finished in first in the division with a record of 10 wins and two losses.
The team performed admirably in the post-season just coming up short, 4-3 in the playoff final against the Saanich Braves.
