Strong dance moves, a positive attitude and an ability to interact with the community could land you a coveted position as mascot for Langford’s Canadian Premier League team, Pacific FC.

A job posting for “Mascot Performer” was tweeted out by the organization Tuesday, calling the career posting “one for the books.”

With a call to “inspire the island,” the club said it is seeking someone who is outgoing, self-motivated and creative. Working 10 to 20 hours a week, the candidate must be able to commit to all home games as well as community outreach events throughout Vancouver Island.
