Voter apathy reigns in issue-less Sidney

Lack of attendance at all-candidates meeting puzzles reader

Have the voters of Sidney already made up their minds how they will vote in the municipal election?

Or are they so bored with the whole thing they could not be bothered to attend the (Oct. 25) all-candidates meeting?

Mind you, they didn’t really miss much as the meeting was dry, stilted and overly controlled to my thinking.

Missing was debate, discussion and certainly passion. I left after the first hour.

Perhaps things improved afterwards, although I doubt it.
