Geography is not Ms. McBride’s strong point.
The Vantreight development directly affects many of our own residents, as the property is exactly on our mutual border.
Councillor Cairine Green is not alone in being alarmed at this development. Thousands of Saanich residents are appalled that too much fine farm land throughout the Peninsula has already been lost to a handful of people whose only interest is in feathering their own nests.
The blatant rejection of hard-won official community plans as a result of questionable methods by a handful of vision-less, selfish speculators, and in this case compounded by a family feud which should have been settled privately, is not acceptable.
