I would like to invite those who haven’t yet visited the North Saanich Farmers’ Market to do so.
It is a wonderful experience. My husband and I went last Saturday; while my husband was buying salad greens, mouth-watering tomatoes, sweet figs, basil to make some pesto, I was sitting on a bench listening to a neighbor, Mark Labelle, singing while accompanying himself on the keyboard.
You could buy flowers, baked goods, jewelry, mason bee houses; you could learn what plants to avoid planting in your garden and I am forgetting to mention others.
We realized once again, how lucky we are to live here.
