LETTERS: Airport billboard is just too much

I have noticed the recent erection of an electronic billboard on the main road to the airport, just before the terminal.

Not only is the placement of the sign unsightly in the view of many, the sign is electronic and is being powered by a diesel generator.

The paper should consider an exposé on this and other recent initiatives by the Victoria Airport Authority. They seem to be diverging from what many expect of an airport authority on the Peninsula and I see a political backlash coming soon.
