LETTER: Thank you for your support of the Community Christmas Dinner

The Community Christmas Dinner Committee wishes to thank the Peninsula News Review for your participation in publicizing our 19th Annual Christmas Dinner, for people who find themselves alone on Christmas Day.

Your paper helped make this event a true success. We had over 300 people attend the event on Christmas Day at the Mary Winspear Centre. The food was fantastic and everyone seemed to have enjoyed him or herself. We had music, delicious food, beautiful table settings, wonderful desserts and Santa popped by.

Your paper was recognized on the sponsor board, which was prominently displayed at the event.

We sincerely appreciate your support for this worthwhile event. It was really touching that people and businesses, such as you, rallied around this idea. It shows that people believe in and want a healthy community.

Again, thank you, we hope you had a happy holiday and best wishes for the New Year.
