LETTER: Idea for expanding sidewalk falls short

The idea behind the expanding the walking zone on Beacon Avenue in front of the bakery and post office is a good one but in my opinion, comes up short.

The idea behind the expanding the walking zone on Beacon Avenue in front of the bakery and post office is a good one but in my opinion, comes up short.

It should extend to about six feet short of the entrance into the Fairway Market parking lot. There is a lot of congestion at the corner of the building.
