Ignored input

Four North Saanich councilors have voted to allow unprecedented urban development in North Saanich

Four North Saanich councilors have voted to allow unprecedented urban development in North Saanich.

They stated they were following the dictates of the majority, that it was just common sense.

The facts are as follows: 80 emails were sent to the municipal hall: 75 requesting a review of the OCP and opposing spot zoning. Another 272 emails were sent to the CRD: 263 requesting a review of the OCP and opposing spot zoning.

The four councilors completely ignored this public input.
