To my many NDP friends: If the only criticism you have of Elizabeth May is that she parachuted into the Saanich Gulf Islands riding, let’s not forget that Tommy Douglas, father of medicare in Canada, parachuted into Nanaimo in 1962.
Almost all Canadians are pleased that he did.
