It occurred to me while reading about a proposed bylaw against feeding animals that the term “pest” should be defined.
What is a pest? From whose perspective is the term derived?
I’ve lived in Sidney now for 13 years and can honestly say I love the fact that we have wild animals living amongst us.
It’s part of the charm of living here.
Maybe the next time a raccoon knocks over your garbage or a seagull poos on your lawn furniture you should consider where your garbage and poo end up.
