North Saanich should de-Scrooge and move Sandown proposal forward

Re: Boos, hisses as split council stalls Sandown proposal (News, Dec. 16)

At this time of gift giving, what greater gift could North Saanich council give its residents than 83 acres of land that would remain in the ALR in perpetuity? If the gift horse is kicked in the mouth, a golden opportunity like this will not likely ever come again.

Come on, Team North Saanich, even Scrooge had a change of heart.
