Re: The backward thinking behind wildlife culls (PNR letters Aug. 19). There seems to be many problems we face as humans, some mundane and others more serious such as the over population of deer, cougars and rabbits in urban areas.
These animals have become too numerous. I suggest a cull program which would provide the meat to food banks and other charitable organizations who provide food for the impoverished in our society.
