It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Sheila on 23 November in Sidney, BC. Sheila was born on 10 February 1933 in Vancouver to Ida Rebecca and Campbell Mostyn Hall, who had immigrated to Vancouver from England the previous year. With her brother Stanley, the family subsequently moved to Victoria where she completed her schooling. She enjoyed and excelled as a baseball player. Sheila later moved to West Vancouver and was chief financial officer of the British Pacific Properties Company in the Park Royal Centre. Sheila was an excellent bowler in West Vancouver. After retiring, Sheila moved to a charming home in Sidney and enjoyed her lovely gardens with her dog Kara. She took up lawn bowling, quilting with friends, and various fundraising activities. Sheilais survived by her brother Stanley (Alice). Also survived by nieces Susan(Joe),Betsy (Doug),Linda(Mark) and Lisa. Also nephews Ken (Sheila)and Rick (Issaree). Also survived by great nieces and nephews Sheri, Joanne, Brendan, John, Logan, Kyle, Christina, Jordan, Courtney, Candice, Richard, Michael and Tom and their respective children (10). Sheila was predeceased by her nephew Jeff(Laurie) and great nephews, Matthew and Tim. Sheila gave lots of her love to the family, taking them to athletic events, movies, parks, and dining places. She was always eager to put on a family meal, for holidays or a time of sharing. A special thanks to Linda and Lisa for all their care and attention for Sheila and our thanks to all the staff at Sidney Allcare Residence for their outstanding care of Sheila in the past 5 years. A celebration of Sheila's life will take place at a later date.
