Mary passed away in the arms of her daughter Linda Clark and her granddaughter Darla Strank, with her beloved country music playing. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years Charles Gibson in 2004 and her son-in-law Jack Clark in 2002.
Mary is survived by her daughters Linda Clark and Kathy Lovejoy (Chuck) her 5 grand children and her 8 great grand children.
Mary came to BC from Bently AB she then met and married Charles Gibson on Aug. 24, 1939. Together they loved fishing for cod, halibut, and livering dog fish, and building two homes in Sidney, BC.
Mary worked 17 years for BC Ferries, and in her spare time she prided herself in growing beautiful gardens, but she is best known for being the Queen of garage sales.
The family of Mary wish to thank all the staff at Resthaven Lodge for their loving, caring ways.
