April 17 1938 to July 20 2016
In the early hours of July 20th, 2016, a beautiful soul was taken from our family. A Mother, Oma, Great Oma, Sister, Aunt, and Friend, you will be greatly missed. The years we had with you were full of laughter and love. We know that Eric has found you, and that you can rest together now. We know that you are watching us still, with your kind and loving eyes, and your wily sense of humour. You have been, and will always be so loved. A piece of you lives on in each of us, and you will forever be in our hearts and memories. You will be sadly missed by your children, Eiko (Tricia), Lis (Harry), Karen (Mark). Your grandchildren Stephanie (Warren), Cayla (Richard), Kristopher (Katie), Nicholas, Marcel (Josie), Alysha (Erik), Nico. Your great-grandchildren Madison, Arianna, Emma and Stephen. Sister Aartje, Brother Piet (Jannie). Many other extended family including Tiny, Jopie, Alfred and Gord. All the family and friends you leave behind from the Netherlands and from all across Canada will always remember you with love. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
