MCLAUGHLIN, JOHN B. (JACK) CPO retired, Canadian Navy 1944 –1967 left us peacefully on April 20, 2007 in his 80th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Lorna, grandson Anthony, parents and brothers. He leaves to carry on his memory (and quick wit), two sons John (Doreen) and Richard (Arlene) of Winnipeg, five daughters Terry (Grant) Winnipeg, Beverly (Toronto) Lynne (Bill) North Bay, Shawna (Pat) and Monica (Gary) of Sidney, 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and another on the way, his very dear friend and companion Edna Hammill, two sisters Bernie and Marilyn (Manitoba) and many extended family and friends. No flowers or service by request. Donations can be made in Jack’s honor to the Anthony Memorial Scholarship fund, c/o 1245 Border St. Winnipeg MB R3H 0X9 or the Canadian cancer society.
