Captain Frederick Charles Wedgewood died at age 85 in Victoria General Hospital after a brief illness. He was a long time resident of Sidney. Fred will be lovingly remembered by his stepdaughters Barbara McShane (Lee Todd) of Delta, Ontario; Pat Thynne (Neville) of Sidney, BC; and Peggy Freeman (Stuart) of Bluffton, SC; his very special friend Gwen Armstrong; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. To celebrate the life of this warm and generous man, a memorial service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013, at , 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, at 2 pm.
