In loving memory ~
Dorothy Beryl Kovari died peacefully in Sidney BC on Monday August 29th 2022.
She will be missed by her daughter Judith, son−in−law Kevin, and by a legion of wonderful friends and carers. She now joins her own very special mother Harriet, beloved husband Joe, and dear Sheba who went on ahead.
Beryl lived a life of kindness and contribution. She served her mother country in the Women's Royal Naval Service in WWII, was a pioneering woman in management with Marks& Spencer, gave countless hours of voluntary work to her churches and community organizations, and cared with dedication and love for her small family.
Although petite in stature, she was larger than life in so many ways. She will be remembered with admiration and affection for her steadfast faith, genuine goodness, resilience, colourful stories, pearls of wisdom and bracing wit.
Memorial service to be held at 10am on Friday September 9th at St Andrew's Anglican Church, Fourth Street, Sidney.
