Anne passed away peacefully on Christmas evening after spending a wonderful day at home with family. Husband Ken and daughter Maryellen were at her side as she closed her eyes to go to sleep and passed. Born in Fort William, ON., Anne grew up in Fort Frances and during her years she lived in Thunder Bay ON., Winnipeg MB., Calgary AB., before retiring to her current home in Sidney BC. Anne will be greatly missed by loving husband Kenneth Tremells, daughters Judith McMillan, Toronto, Jacqueline Kerluck (Alan) Thunder Bay, son Michael Rutledge & daughter Maryellen Hay, both of Thunder Bay, ON. Her grandchildren include Catherine Peterson (Brian), Christopher & Lindsay Kerluck (Jason), Larissa & Jenna Rutledge, Shea Sevelka (Mary), Donald McMillan & predeceased by grandson Alex McMillan. Her great-grandchildren include Brendan & Kelsey Sworyk, Meaghan & Julia Peterson, Cole & Finn Kerluck, Jacob & Katerina Sevelka and her proud new addition to the family, Kingston Porichuk. Also, Sister Mary Lomax of Kelso, WA., & many nieces & nephews throughout Canada & the U.S. Will remember her with much love. For many years Anne was an avid curler, involved in several clubs including the Labatt’s Major League for Women and she was also a Life Master duplicate bridge player. Anne’s family, relatives, and many friends will remember her for her love of life, her great sense of humor & wonderful laugh & her impeccable style. As per her wishes, Anne will be cremated and return to one of her favorite places, Rainy Lake at Fort Frances, ON. A family service will be held at that time.
