Cherished daughter of Dave and Carolyn Wegelin of Black Diamond, AB, Adrianne was born in Prince Rupert, BC and lived in Port Edward, Prince George and Sidney. She studied at Camosun College and the University of Victoria, where she earned Bachelor's degrees in Arts and Education. With great courage, Adrianne left her family and friends to teach children overseas in Qatar, Bahrain, and finally, in China.
Adrianne was an avid reader, crafter, learner and she loved all animals. She was a gifted musician whose voice was a true delight. Adrianne loved to laugh. Her sense of humour and love of the absurd (including Monty Python!) was utterly endearing and completely infectious. Adrianne leaves friends, students and colleagues all over the world whose lives are better for knowing her.
Adrianne is survived by her parents, Carolyn and David, brother Austin (Traci), uncle Gaspard (Marie), aunt Ida, aunt Cathy Stiles (Pat) as well as loving cousins on both sides of her family. She lives forever in our hearts. Memorials in Adrianne's name may be made to the SPCA or the Heart and Lung foundation.
