Annual holiday magic felt throughout Sidney streets as Santa came to town

Hundreds of people lined Beacon Avenue Sunday evening and as dusk fell, the holiday season lit up with Christmas cheer for the annual Sidney Sparkles Christmas Parade.

Hosted by the Peninsula Celebrations Society, community organizations from across the Peninsula participated on an array of floats with appearances from the Grinch, Rudolph and his reindeer pals and of course the big guy himself – Santa.
