Residents will have to wait to hear what will happen on a hillside in Central Saanich.
Supreme Court Justice Victor Curtis heard three days of testimony before reserving judgement in the Central Saanich Residents and Ratepayers legal challenge of a Central Saanich bylaw allowing farmer Ian Vantreight to subdivide part of his farm into 57 lots.
The ratepayers argued that the development is contrary to the district’s Official Community Plan.
No date was given for the announcement of the decision.
