Snowy, windy weather is expected to return to Victoria Sunday afternoon and could cause further travel disruptions as the weekend comes to a close.

Five to 10 centimetres of snow is expected to fall before slowing down by evening.

On Sunday morning, a BC Transit alert said there are no bus route cancellations but road conditions may cause delays and several routes remain on detour due to Saturday’s wind storm.

Only two flights are cancelled from Victoria International Airport – both scheduled for Seattle, WA.

BC Ferries has no listed cancellations at this time.

On Saturday, dock damage and high winds forced BC Ferries to re-route the The Queen of Oak Bay running on the Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) – Nanaimo (Departure Bay) route. It resumed sailing by early afternoon.
