Two bodies were discovered inside a home in the 3900 block of Cadboro Bay Road Tuesday.

Saanich police at the scene Tuesday were not releasing information about the two individuals. Sgt. Dean Jantzen said investigators will likely be on scene until Wednesday evening.

Police were called around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday asking for assistance at the home.

The cause of death is under investigation but police say they're looking for anyone who may have information to come forward.

"If you noticed anything suspicious or unusual - really in the last couple days - that you think might be relevant, please give us a call," Jantzen said.

He said officers need to obtain a search warrant and likely won't get into the home until late tonight or early in the morning.

A neighbour who lives up the street and requested anonymity said the neighbourhood is "always very quiet."

"I'd rather this be a murder suicide so I know there's nothing to be worried about," she said.

Jantzen said there is no indication the public is at risk.

Cadboro Bay Road is cordoned off between Dawe Road and Telegraph Bay Road and will be closed until further notice. Traffic to and from Ten Mile Point is being rerouted down Arbutus Road.
