Pedestrian hit by vehicle early Thursday morning suffers serious injuries: Victoria police

Blanshard Street closed for 4 hours Thursday morning

A pedestrian suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle on Blanshard Street early Thursday.

Police were called for a pedestrian struck around 6 a.m. Thursday (Feb. 9). Officers closed the southbound lanes of Blanshard between Tolmie Avenue and Finlayson Street until around 10 a.m.

Injuries to the pedestrian appear serious but non-life threatening.
