Three trustees acclaimed

North Saanich sees trio in race for two board seats

Nick Claxton and Tim Dunford will serve as school board trustees after the municipal election. Claxton and Dunford were acclaimed to the two seats for the Saanich School Board.

Incumbent Jane Husband held her role in Sidney as well.

In North Saanich, Monica Copeland, Barbara Menzies and Jim Standen are running for the two trustee seats. The vote is held during the municipal election.

Voting opportunities in North Saanich include advance voting on Nov. 9 and 16 at municipal hall, 1620 Mills Road, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

General voting day is Nov. 19 at municipal hall from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

 

The Saanich Teachers Association and Confederation of

Parent Advisory Councils of Saanich are hosting an all candidates forum for those seeking seats on the Saanich School Board.

 

 

The meeting for the School District 63

candidates is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. in the multipurpose room at Royal Oak middle school, 4564 West Saanich Rd.

 

 

Three candidates in Saanich are also running for two available seats on the Saanich School Board.
