Enjoy a meal at Saanichton’s Prairie Inn this Saturday and support Tour de Rock rider Lori Lumley while you’re at it.
On Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. until midnight, a portion of the proceeds from all the Prairie Inn’s food sales will be donated to Lumley and the 2014 Tour de Rock fundraising campaign.
As well, a silent auction (4 p.m. to 8 p.m.), mystery balloons, a meat draw and a 50/50 draw will take place.
“It will be a really fun event and I’m so looking forward to it,” said Lumley, a police officer with the Victoria Police Department.
“I can’t thank the staff of the Prairie Inn enough, they’ve just been incredibly supportive and this event will be wonderful.”
