The town won't consider outside street food vendors for Sidney walkways.
Last year the town approved three licences and only one set up briefly, said Mayor Larry Cross.
However, it spurred some concern throughout local business owners.
"We've had some concerns on our local businesses on street vendors," Cross said. "Council has decided not to allow that, instead to encourage our local restauranteurs to provide [it] if that service is needed."
The town hadn't yet seen any official applications this year.
