Store worker sees double in two liquor thefts

Same suspect eyed for two thefts from Brentwood Bay liquor store

Two thefts from the Metro Liquor Store in Brentwood have Central Saanich police investigating.

On Thursday, June 21 at 3:30 p.m. two male suspects entered the store and as one distracted the clerk, the other made off with two bottles of hard liquor.

The next day at the same time, a single male fitting the description of one of the suspects entered the store, picked up the same type of hard liquor and took off on foot. Police have identified suspects using video surveillance footage.
