Smoking sports car slows traffic in View Royal

Ambulance and fire on scene of car fire Sunday

A sports car was on fire Sunday afternoon reportedly slowing traffic in the southbound lane of the TransCanada Highway near the Colwood off ramp.

Twitter user scott_rose posted a video and picture of the incident that show a smoking sports car slowing traffic in the opposite lane.

Westshore RCMP confirmed that they responded to the call, but the View Royal Fire Department was in charge of the scene and could not be reached at the time of publication.
