Seaside changes allowed in North Saanich

Shoreline landscaping on Wincott Road allowed by council

A new home in North Saanich got the OK to alter its shoreline landscaping.

Council approved the development permit to alter landscaping at 2139 Wincott Rd. during new construction.

The work approved is in the marine foreshore and uplands. District of North Saanich staff said it would not significantly alter the site conditions or affect runoff to a degree where it would negatively impact the marine environment, and it does meet permit guidelines.
